How to Play:

There are two ways to play the game: (1) Hidden Chess (2) Open Chess

Hidden Chess Rules: At the start of the game, both players arrange their pieces without letting the opponent see them. In hidden chess, pieces are stood upright so the opponent cannot see them. An additional person is needed as a referee for hidden chess, to assist when pieces are captured.

Open Chess Rules: At the start of the game, both players arrange their pieces. In open chess, pieces face upwards so both players can see them. Bombs cannot be placed in the first row, landmines can only be placed in the last two rows, and the flag can only be placed in the headquarters.

Each side has 25 pieces in the army chess game: one Commander, one Army Commander, one Flag; two Division Commanders, two Brigade Commanders, two Regiment Commanders, two Battalion Commanders, two Bombs; three Company Commanders, three Platoon Commanders, three Engineers, three Landmines. The ranking of pieces in army chess is: Commander > Army Commander > Division Commander > Brigade Commander > Regiment Commander

> Battalion Commander > Company Commander > Platoon Commander > Engineer. When a larger piece encounters a smaller piece, the smaller piece is captured, and the larger piece remains in its original position.

If a bomb encounters any piece except an Engineer, both are eliminated. An Engineer can directly capture a bomb. If two pieces of the same rank meet, both are eliminated.

Army Chess Board: The army chess board includes railway lines and road lines. Each side has 5 camps, 23 military stations, and 2 headquarters.

WAR GAME

Headquarters. Military stations are where pieces are placed; railway lines are fast movement lines for pieces, allowing unlimited steps as long as they stay on the straight line;

Road lines are slow movement lines, allowing only one step at a time; camps are protective zones for pieces, where pieces cannot be attacked by any other pieces. Pieces in camps can only move one step at a time; headquarters, one of which must be the location of the flag, while the other can house any other piece. Engineers move in a special way; as long as they are on a railway line and there are no obstructions, they can move freely along the railway.

Placement of Army Chess Pieces: In principle, the 25 pieces can be placed anywhere on the board except for the camps, but there are special restrictions for some specific pieces. For example, the Flag:

Can only be placed in one of the two headquarters; Landmines: Can only be placed in the last two rows, excluding the headquarters occupied by the flag, in any of the 11 positions; Bombs: Cannot be placed in the first row's

5 positions.

Winning the Game:

1. Capture the opponent's flag to win.
2. Capture all of the opponent's movable pieces to win.

Players can also play according to their preferred rules; just agree on the rules before the game begins.
